Karen Ferreira studied photography at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She initially studied Jewellery Design and Manufacture at Russell Road College after high school. During this time she also did a short course in photography at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. After completing her jewellery studies she then worked in the jewellery industry for two years before deciding to pursue her passion for photography.

She has completed her National Diploma in photography, and is currently busy with her plans to
collaborate her two passions into one by focusing on jewellery photography.

Her passion is to capture the essence and beauty of jewellery through photography and she
plans to enter the jewellery advertising market.

Philosophy

Her philosophy is to strive for excellence in her work creating images of exceptional quality.
